Pillar Candle

Honey Pie Hives & Herbal offers pure beeswax pillar candles with cotton wicks, available in multiple sizes. Pillars with a three-inch diameter require a bit more maintenance due to their larger wicks. When the wick begins to smoke, it’s time for a trim. To do so, extinguish the candle, then use scissors to trim the wick to approximately 1 cm before relighting.

If there’s a breeze in the room, from a fan or open window, the flame may move, causing the candle to drip or melt unevenly. To ensure optimal burning, gently press the edges of the pillar inward so the flame consumes almost all the wax, or create a glowing effect by maintaining an outer layer of wax. To achieve this, extinguish the flame once the melted wax reaches just near the candle’s edge, preserving a thin, glowing layer of wax.
