Blackberry Honey
Blackberry Honey
Introducing the popular and delectable Blackberry Honey from Country Bee Honey Farm, sourced from vibrant hives nestled in the heart of Vancouver. While it may not taste like blackberries, its delightful sweetness originates from the nectar of blackberry flowers, making it a truly unique and flavorful honey.
The story of this honey begins with Lindsay and Jason Dault, who founded Urban Bee Supplies in Vancouver back in 2009. Their passion for beekeeping and dedication to promoting sustainable practices quickly turned their modest 9' x 12' suite-based business into a thriving enterprise, ultimately leading them to take a bold leap of faith. Guided by their dreams, they left behind the corporate world to pursue their true calling - a life on the farm.
In pursuit of their vision, Lindsay and Jason sold their Tsawwassen home and purchased an expansive 11-acre farm in Lindsay's hometown. Now, their farm stands as a testament to their passion for nature and their commitment to providing locally sourced, high-quality products to their community.
As you approach their farm, you'll be enchanted by the array of activities and natural beauty it offers. Walk through lush gardens, observe the cheerful animal pens perfect for children's delight, and find a serene spot at one of their picnic tables to savor a coffee infused with the sweetness of their pure honey.
At the heart of their farm lies their devotion to raising bees, pork, and beef with utmost care and love. The bees are nurtured organically, without the use of antibiotics or harmful pesticides, ensuring the purest honey from nature's own source. The farm also partners with another local farming family, the Sluggetts, to raise the beef sustainably right in the center of the peninsula. Their pork is lovingly raised on whiskey mash, local farm produce, and grains, resulting in the happiness of their cherished livestock.
Through their endeavors, Lindsay and Jason Dault aim to reconnect people with nature and provide a delightful array of locally sourced products that encompass the essence of their passion and dedication. From heavenly honey to farm-raised poultry and pork, their farm stands as a beacon of natural goodness and ethical farming practices.
